I am concerned with manifest meaning, the way that we put thought and feeling into a thing. The meanings I manifest include complex systems, chaos, organics and order, dynamics. The warp and weft and texture of the thing of which we are a part. I try to suit the materials or the structure to the meanings, and to tailor how they function to best transmit a message. But it is imperfect, reality is not reduced, but reduction is part of how we learn to know it. There is no fixed mode for meaning, it moves through words and forms and images and movement, sounds. Some I know how to move, and others less so, and I learn. But I mean it, and I try to give the meaning form to suit its purpose.
